Dubai, UAE, 26 January 2026 – Global Village is set to deliver an exceptional Hag Al Leila experience from Saturday, 31 January to Tuesday, 3 February, honouring the beloved Emirati tradition that unites families and communities through generosity, joy, and cultural heritage. Observed on the 15th night of Sha’ban, the Hijri month preceding Ramadan, Hag Al Leila is a joyful occasion that celebrates the spirit of giving and heritage.
This season, Global Village will bring the cherished tradition of Hag Al Leila to life with a four‑day activation opposite the Main Stage. Children can take part in creative arts and crafts workshops, games and meet‑and‑greet sessions with The Wonderers, who will interact with young guests, pose for photos, and distribute specially prepared Hag Al Leila gift pouches.
At the heart of the celebration, the Heritage Village offers an authentic setting designed to transport guests back in time. Families can stroll through the area and enjoy a festive atmosphere filled with traditional clothing and accessories, classic and modern candy-collection baskets, old‑school Emirati snacks, and decorative pots and plates perfect for family gatherings.
A highlight of the celebration will be the special Hag Al Leila drone show, taking place on Sunday, 1 February at 7:35 PM, following the Isha prayer break.
The festivities are part Season of Wulfa, a new initiative that links Hag Al Leila, Ramadan, and Eid; three interconnected occasions that define the cultural and spiritual rhythm of life in the UAE and the wider Islamic world.
