Diana Hamed was crowned Miss Egypt Universe 2019 during a huge ceremony at Al Massah Hotel in Nasr City Cairo presented by Miss Lebanon 2014 actor Rabih El Zein and Miss Egypt 2009 Elham Wagdy and first runner up Aya Abdel Razek (medical student) and second runner Mirna Makkawi (Studying business administration) Miss Egypt Universe is the only official competition in Egypt, where the winner represents Egypt in the Miss Universe election.The jury, chaired by Miss Hoda Abboud, Miss Egypt Universe of 1987 and the organizer of the competition, consisted of actress Nermin El-Feki, Egyptian international fashion designer Hani El-Beheiri, Syrian artist Nesreen Tafesh, Tv presenter Noha Abdel Aziz, cosmetic doctor Dr. Smiley and businessman Bassel Samakia. The concert started with the first appearance of the 20 contestants during a performance show by Lebanese singer Carolina, after which they appeared in the swimming suits and a final pass where they starred in the special evening dresses signed by the Egyptian international designer Hani El Behairy. Miss Egypt Universe 2018 Nariman Khaled handed the crown to the new Queen Diana Hamedthe general organization of the competition and the ceremony held this year by the American company Masterpiece owner Tamer Yahyathe choreographs and dances designed by Lebanese choreographer Pierre Khadra The ceremony was greeted by artist Wael Nour where he presented a bouquet of the most beautiful songs The artist Carolina from Lebanon participated in musicals, dances and performances that drew the audience Finally Ms. Hoda Abboud presented a trophy to the Ambassador of Thailand as a token of appreciation for hosting the Miss Universe 2018 competition in Thailand last year, who in return thanked the organizers and announced the publication of the book “Thailand in the eyes of Miss Egypt for the Universe” which was distributed to attendees at the ceremony. Speaking to Queen Diana Hamed, a 20-year-old business student at Hult Business School in London , she said: “She feels indescribable after winning the title. She was happy to participate in the competition this year. There was an atmosphere of companionship and familiarity throughout the rehearsals and training period of the competition, She said she was four years old dreaming of taking part in the Miss Egypt Universe competition when she grew up and telling her Hungarian-born mother her first cheerleader: “I’m gonna win the crown one day.” She worked in modeling field at UNN agency in Egypt and participated in fashion shows in Egypt, Japan and Korea ..
