ABC Group has announced today that it will donate 100,000,000 LBP to Jouzour Loubnan, a Lebanese NGO, whose mission is to participate in the restoration of Lebanese woodland and promote sustainable forestation, to help restore Lebanese forests. ABC’s announcement comes after the fires that have been raging in Lebanon for the past few days and destroying green forests.
“It’s devastating to see the fires ravaging our forests. Protecting the environment requires taking concrete collective actions which is in line with ABC’s mission and core values. We firmly believe that the wellbeing of people and environmental sustainability are interconnected. Thus, contributing to a sustainable environment has always been one of our social missions,” said Tania Ezzeddine, Deputy CEO at ABC Group.
With the hopes of brighter days to come, we are grateful to those who have truly gone above and beyond to help save lives and protect our beautiful land.
On 27 October, ABC employees will join Jouzour Loubnan teams to plant 3,500 Lebanese trees and help restore and reforest, to compensate, as much as we can, the loss. By joining hands and making the right choices we will be able to protect our forests and environment in the future.
