Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 27 March 2026: The Green Planet™ Dubai, the region’s only indoor rainforest, will participate in Earth Hour at 8:30 PM on Saturday, 28 March by switching off non-essential lights, in support of the global initiative.
Observed worldwide and led by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Earth Hour encourages individuals, communities and businesses to take a stand against climate change through simple, collective action.
By participating in this global initiative, The Green Planet™ Dubai reinforces its ongoing commitment to environmental education and conservation, encouraging guests to reflect on the impact of collective action in protecting the natural world. The Green Planet also supports ongoing conservation and research initiatives focused on biodiversity preservation, species protection, and environmental education.
Ahead of Earth Hour, visitors are encouraged to explore the biodome’s immersive experiences, designed to foster a deeper understanding of biodiversity and the importance of protecting natural ecosystems.
The biodome also offers immersive experiences that bring together education, conservation, and entertainment, encouraging a deeper connection with nature and greater awareness of the need to protect it.
