Dubai, UAE, 24 July, 2025: The Green Planet™ Dubai is turning up the eco-fun this World Conservation Week, running from Monday, 28th July to Sunday, 3rd August! As the region’s only indoor rainforest and home to over 3,000 plants and animals, it’s inviting young explorers to dive into a week bursting with nature-inspired play, fascinating animal encounters, and planet-friendly activities made just for kids.
From digging in the dirt to crafting with leaves and spotting birds in the canopy, every corner of the biodome will be buzzing with excitement. Whether it’s their first visit or their fifth, little explorers will have something new to try each day.
Activities include:
- Plant a tree: Let kids dig in and plant a sapling as they learn how trees help protect the Earth.
- Birdwatching game: Spot colourful rainforest birds in a fun challenge that encourages observation and patience.
- Build a compost bun: A hands-on composting experience that shows how food scraps and leaves can turn into rich soil.
- Bug encounters: Come face to feeler with some of the rainforest’s coolest insects and find out why they matter.
- Nature art station: Create eco-friendly art using natural materials found in and around the forest.
- Meet the Vietnamese jungle friends: From fascinating reptiles to quirky crawlies, discover the creatures that call Vietnam’s rainforests home.
- Stories under the Kapok Tree: Join engaging storytelling sessions inspired by one of the rainforest’s most iconic trees.
This special week is the perfect opportunity for children to explore nature up close, learn about conservation in creative ways, and leave with a deeper understanding of how to protect our planet.
