Dubai – 20 November 2025
Lebanese artist Tania Kassis captivated audiences last night on the stage of Dubai Opera, delivering an elegant evening built around an exceptional repertoire that brought together Arabic, French and English songs. The meticulously crafted selection showcased a refined musical blend that bridges Eastern and Western styles, reaffirming Kassis’s artistic identity as a performer who moves confidently across cultures.
On stage, Tania presented a selection of songs, with a performance that combined vocal precision and emotional depth. Once again, she demonstrated her ability to speak to diverse audiences within a coherent and carefully curated artistic framework.
For the first time in her live shows, Kassis shared the stage with tap dancers – a new element in her performances that added a contemporary rhythmic layer and striking energy to the evening, transforming the performance into a fully immersive visual and sonic experience.
This concert comes against the backdrop of strong digital and media momentum for Tania Kassis. Her latest release, “Layli Wara Layli” (lyrics and composition by Nabil Khoury, arranged by Taym), has been enjoying remarkable traction, with the music video – directed by Jean Claude Deeb – surpassing the 1.5 million view mark on YouTube in a short period of time. The figures underscore the audience’s engagement with the musical direction Tania has chosen, and consolidate her position within contemporary Lebanese and Arab music.
Building on this success, Tania Kassis announced yesterday a large-scale Christmas production entitled “Christmas Show”, to be held for one night only on December 23rd at Beirut Hall in Beirut. The show will feature more than 50 performers, including dancers, singers and musicians, in a festive production inspired by the spirit of major American holiday spectacles. The evening promises audiences a rich, family-friendly visual and musical experience, combining a global sensibility with the warmth of the Christmas spirit.
