Born in 1924, Rosine Vartouhie Sisserian alias Rosevart Sisserian settles definitively in Lebanon in 1960; the country she and her family loved very much. Mother of five children and already grandmother, she enrolled at the School of Visual Arts of Alba in 1974, just before the war. She graduated with distinction in 1979 and was engaged as a teacher at Alba since 1980. She shared with students in architecture and fine arts, her passion for color and composition for nearly 30 years.
A member of the Union of Lebanese Painters and Draftsmen, Rosevart never stopped painting or exhibiting, she has had several individual and collective exhibitions (Lebanon, Armenia, New York, Paris).
Rosevart died in 2016 in Beirut.
