Rebirth Beirut is pleased to announce its new art exhibition entitled “Beyond Colors” in its cultural space located in Gemmayzeh, Gouraud street, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Optique et Vision, and in cooperation with Kreative Call platform.
The exhibition is curated by Muriel Asmar and showcases the artistic expressions of visually impaired sculptors under the supervision and direction of Carole Ingea with the renowned artists Zeina Nader and Ouisam Melhem.
“Beyond Colors” is also a celebration of the limitless imagination and artistic abilities of individuals with Social Challenges, Behavior Disorder and Autism. Through their remarkable paintings, these artists transcend barriers and invite us to see the world through their world.
Kreative Call is the first social entrepreneurship platform in the Middle East & North Africa region that embarks on an artistic journey with a community of talented artists with special needs and social challenges, providing them with a space to express their feelings and unveil their creativity while getting them closer to social and economic inclusion as individuals and artists in society.
President and Founder of Rebirth Beirut Mr. Gaby Fernaine considered that the exhibition is a tribute of appreciation for the diverse abilities and talents within our community and provides an inclusive space for artistic expression. He added: “We salute Optique et Vision’s initiative which falls within the framework of social responsibility, and through which we call on all institutions to dedicate part of their activities for such causes.”
The opening, for one night only, will be on Thursday July 27, 2023, at 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and the invitation is open to everyone who wants to support the artists and discover their extraordinary talent and creativity.
