- Beirut marks the second Henley & Partners office in the MENA region, after Dubai
Henley & Partners the global leader in residence and citizenship planning, announced its plans to open an office in Lebanon, in the capital Beirut, on 13 April 2016. The grand opening will be held in conjunction with a Global Citizenship Seminar which will cover key developments in residence and citizenship planning, and feature a special keynote address by the Honorable Dr. Joseph Muscat, the Prime Minister of Malta.
The Beirut office will be headed up by Marc Menard, the Managing Partner of Henley & Partners Lebanon, and who previously held the position of Managing Partner of Swiss Insurance Partners (Hong Kong) Ltd, a Henley & Partners group company.
Commenting on the new office opening, Menard said: “We are very pleased to be opening our second Henley & Partners office in the MENA region, especially in a key market like Lebanon. We see an increasingly high number of second citizenship applicants from Lebanon because for a number of years the region has been grappling with issues related to political stability, security and travel restrictions. Henley & Partners will work closely with the applicants and advise on the best investment programs that are most in line with their requirements. By opening our Beirut office we are in a better position to serve our clients in this market.”
Attendees of the Global Citizenship Seminar will hear first-hand from some of the world’s most respected professionals in the field, including the Hon. Dr. Muscat, who will speak on how the Mediterranean archipelago Malta is setting a new standard in attracting foreign capital and investment. Yiannis Karousos, the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Cyprus, will also be in attendance and deliver a speech on Cyprus as a tailored investment destination.
