Beirut, Lebanon, March 23, 2016: Rasamny-Younis Motor Company SAL (RYMCO), the exclusive distributor of Nissan in Lebanon, unveiled the locally tuned 1,000 horsepower Nissan GT-R during an event that took place on Saturday March 19 at the RPM track in Mtein.
Sports editors, media representatives and bloggers as well as GT-R owners, VIP guests and socialites attended the event and were the first to witness the speed power of this modified version of the world class high performance supercar, the original GT-R was also showcased during the event.
The event started with a welcome speech by Mr. Fayez Rasamny, Chairman of RYMCO, who expressed his pride towards this announcement. “Creating one of the fastest sports car in the region was very challenging for RYMCO and represents a very important news for GTR enthusiasts who seek this car for a unique moment of pure thrill”, he declared.
Mr. Nadim Mehanna, personal ambassador and President of the GT-R Club, conveyed his happiness about finally presenting this highly performant supercar, saying: “The tuned GT-R comes after years of labor and trial by a team of seasoned experts at RYMCO.”
Mr. Fadi Ghosn, Chief Marketing Officer of Nissan Middle East, who was proud to attend this major event for the brand, declared: “Nissan is very proud to witness such a strategic milestone in the development of our business in Lebanon. Moreover, the event featured the launching of Nissan GT-R club headed by Nadim Mehanna, giving GT-R owners in Lebanon the opportunity to belong to a very exclusive circle where they can meet, network, share and live unforgettable experiences.
Based on the Nissan GT-R model, which features ride quality and the same high-end features, RYMCO chose to specially tune it to exhibit a more mature, refined feel, and maximum power and speed. To witness the GT-R’s high performance, RYMCO’s guests got the chance to accompany Nadim Mehanna and try one of the fastest supercars in the region on RPM circuit.
