G.A. Bazerji & Sons, the official dealer of Maserati in Lebanon, has reported an increase in demand for the Levante following its debut in summer 2016.
The model has quickly become a preferred vehicle of choice in the luxury SUV segment for clients seeking exceptional on-road and off-road capability alongside day-to-day comfort and practicality.
The introduction of the new model has not only led to a 38% increase in Maserati sales in August across the Middle East, India and Africa region, but also secured, in Lebanon, a waiting period of four months for special orders.
The Sales Manager of Maserati Lebanon at G.A. Bazerji & Sons, said: “We are extremely delighted with the phenomenal response the Levante has received among our clients in Lebanon. As Maserati’s first SUV, the car has set a unique benchmark in the segment”.
By tapping into the largest luxury segment of the automobile industry, the Levante introduces a new concept to the SUV world, delivering best-in-class comfort even on rough terrains. Its distinctive design combines spaciousness and coupé lines, while its range of cutting-edge technology administers new levels of safety and entertainment on the road.
Available in two variants – the Levante and Levante S – the model’s sporty demeanour is powered by the Maserati 3-litre V6 engine with twin turbo. The top-of-the-range Levante S with 430hp makes it to 100km/h in just 5.2 seconds and has a top speed of 264km/h. The 350hp Levante achieves the 0-100 km/h sprint in 6.0 second and a 251km/h top speed.
Both versions adopt an eight-speed automatic ZF gearbox with a choice of drive modes: Normal, I.C.E., Sport or Off-road.
The Levante is available at the Maserati showroom located on Dora Highway, Tannous Tower at a starting price of 125,000 USD.
