28th April 2026: Mercedes AMG- PETRONAS F1 superstar George Russell and the most decorated freestyle skier in Olympic history, Eileen Gu joined IWC Schaffhausen at Watches and Wonders 2026 in Geneva.
George Russell discusses the Miami GP and the season so far:

This comes after IWC Schaffhausen launched their Pilot’s Venturer Vertical Drive earlier this week – a timepiece made specifically to meet the demands of spaceflight. In partnership with Vast, , the team behind Haven-1, set to become the world’s first commercial space station, the watch has now received space qualification from Vast for flight on Haven-1. The watch is designed to support life in orbit, where spacecraft circle the Earth roughly every 90 minutes, requiring astronauts to rely entirely on precise, functional timekeeping to structure their day.
