The Rotary Club of Beirut Cedars and École de l’Immaculée Conception are pleased to announce their latest collaboration in the ongoing educational transformation of the school. A reception was held to commemorate this achievement, attended by Head Mistress Sister Anita, Mr. Rodolph Melki, President of the Rotary Club of Beirut Cedars, Assistant Governor Mrs. May Khodor, Presidents of contributing Rotary Clubs, and other partners and fellow Rotarians.
The initial phase of this transformation commenced a few years ago when the Rotary Club of Beirut Cedars, in partnership with various local and international clubs and organizations, donated ten interactive digital boards valued at $10,000. In 2024, they further equipped four classrooms with essential furniture, enabling the school to offer grades 10 through 12 for the first time in its history.
Today, the Rotary Club of Beirut Cedars proudly announces the successful collaboration of multiple Rotary Clubs and international partners to establish a state-of-the-art Chemistry Lab, a new Computer Lab, and a Library at a total cost of $50,000. These essential additions will provide students with hands-on learning tools, enhance digital literacy, and support the school’s application for homologation with the AEFE (Agence pour l’Enseignement Français à l’Étranger). This recognition will facilitate future academic and institutional support from the French government.
The Rotary Club of Beirut Cedars extends its gratitude to the generous contributions of Mon Liban d’Azur, Comité Inter-Pays France-Liban, No Finish Line International, and the Rotary Clubs of Beyrouth, Beirut Cadmos, Beirut Liberty, Metn Gate, and Sahel Metn, all of whom played a crucial role in making this achievement possible.
Together, we reaffirm our shared commitment to advancing quality education and empowering youth in Lebanon.
