| On behalf of the entire team of bebw’shebbek, we are truly grateful for all the support we’ve been receiving. We would love to give you an update on our progress and the number of houses we’ve restored. To date, our volunteer heroes, teams of interior designers, architects, civil engineers and contractors, have completed the production and installation of doors and windows forhomes in Beirut. Most importantly, the support has helped families return to their homes safely. Here are some before and after shots of damaged homes in areas like Mar Mkhael, Gemmayzeh, Achrafieh, Khandaa Al Ghamie, Rmeil, Zkak El Blat, Bourj Hammoud and Geitawi.Bebw’shebbek has undertaken over 800 homes including homes belonging to the elderly and to families from all social backgrounds. Our goal is to fix the windows and doors of around 150 homes each month until we reach our objective of 3,000 homes. The blast left 300,000 families displaced and they need our support to help them get back inside before winter.
