Alfa, managed by Orascom Telecom, launched two new postpaid bundles: Start-Up, which cuts the current postpaid rates by 47%, and VIP, which cuts current rates by 53%.
The Start-Up bundle is at $45 and includes 550 local minutes, 1.5GB of data, and 100 SMS. As for the VIP bundle, it is at $185 and is addressed to subscribers with high consumption rates. It includes 2200 local minutes, 120 international minutes, 15GB of data, unlimited local SMS, and free VIP Call Waiting and Message Box features. It should be noted that the monthly subscription and VAT are added to the new bundle prices.
Alfa CEO and Chairman Marwan Hayek indicated that these two bundles are addressed to postpaid subscribers with moderate and high consumption rates, providing them with multiple features such as minutes and data at rates that are discounted to more than half the current rates. He pointed out, “these cuts are in keeping with our efforts to enable Alfa subscribers to benefit from discounted rates. Our network is ready for the great demand we expect for these bundles, in light of our constant expansion to keep pace with the increase in consumption, especially in regard to data”.
