This weekend, the Scouts and Guides of Saint Antoine de Padoue – Horsh Tabet will be waiting for you at the doors of more than 40 supermarkets as part of their yearly food bank for the 26th consecutive year. This operation is of crucial importance, especially this year with the ongoing Lebanese economic crisis, and will be aiming at spreading the Christmas spirit by collecting non-perishable food and donating it to more than 600 families in need.
The scouts’ and guides’ presence is not limited to the supermarkets, as packages of non-perishable foods can be donated via the platforms Toters Just Help. This online presence makes it possible for people abroad or unable to go shopping to contribute.
