International PR and communications experts from Google, Unilever, P&G and Schneider Electric are scheduled to present at the Global PR Summit Beirut, Lebanon’s most anticipated PR event this year, taking place next week, from 8-9 October at the Movenpick Hotel in Beirut.
The two days international gathering kicks off with a presentation on the state of PR in the region by Mohamed Al Ayed, CEO at TRACCS. During the two day event Lebanese and regional PR experts will also be able to hear interactive presentations on content management in PR by Heather Mitchell from Unilever, using data in corporate communications by Joyce Baz from Google and reputation management by Mary Jo Jacobi, one of the world’s biggest communications experts and Former VP Communications at BP America during the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
The Global PR Trends Summit Beirut will also include a full day interactive workshop on crisis communications with Donald Steel, former Chief Communications Advisor at BBC and the world’s biggest authority in crisis management, as well as discussions on PR measurement, personal reputation and CSR.
The Global PR Summit is one of the world’s fastest growing PR events. The first edition of the event was organized in Serbia in 2011 and since then this international PR gathering has been organized in 17 different countries including Turkey, Russia, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Morocco, Jordan and Egypt.
The Lebanese edition of the Global PR Trends Summit is organized by P World in cooperation with TRACCS. The event is supported by MEPRA- the Middle East PR Association.
