Beirut-August 18, 2016: As a step forward into simplifying hectic payment procedures, LibanPost launched their new self-service kiosk in City Mall Dora combining shopping with easy access to fulfilling daily life settlements. The event convened media personalities, members of the press, bloggers and members of LibanPost team.
The self-service kiosk offers services pertaining to settling payments for Touch, Alfa and Ogero bills, top-up of Alfa and Touch prepaid cards, pay park-meter fines, renew online PO Boxes. It also serves as an information screen to track and trace parcels, check out your fines and mechanic processes.
Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Chadi Meghames, LibanPost Finance and Administration Director, said:” LibanPost has always been the link between citizens and the Lebanese government, it transformed itself from a traditional mail company to becoming the largest service provider in Lebanon; it has also contributed to administrative reforms in several ministries. Our main goal is to facilitate people’s lives by creating new services: we are now equipped with the most innovative mail sorting machines in the world which will eliminate potential errors and mistakes.” Mr. Meghames also added:” LibanPost has been proudly competing with European and American countries and acquiring international awards for innovation. And here we are today launching the self-service kiosk which will make payments much easier, it will soon be available not only in shopping malls but also in gas stations, supermarkets, hospitals and universities.”
The event included a simulation done by LibanPost team members followed by a trial from invitees where they had the chance to experience the new service and pay their pending fines.
“Pay while Happy” is the motto behind the introduction of this self-service kiosk in shopping malls. Clients and shoppers will no longer have to wait or pay additional parking fees to stop and settle.
