The opening event was held on November 15, 2016 and was attended by the Verdun residents, the media and many social influencers who were introduced to the world of beekeeping and honey pairing.
Founded by three young and dynamic men from different backgrounds with a common passion for nature, beekeeping and craftwork, L’Atelier du Miel is committed to producing pure honey with natural methods.
L’Atelier du Miel is distinguished by a unique production method that relies on moving the beehives every two to three months to follow flower blossoming seasons, and by doing so allowing the bees to feed only on nectar of flowers and honeydew of trees.
In its new boutique located in Verdun-Koraytem neighborhood, L’Atelier du Miel will be sharing its passion for beekeeping by proposing the different honeys it produces in Lebanon and those produced by its international partners, as well as a variety of honey-based products: jams made with only fresh fruits and honey, nougat, cakes and other delicacies.
In only 60 square meters, L’Atelier du Miel has successfully met the challenge of exposing 30 different kinds of honey, each in three jar sizes and in tailored galvanized steel modules. At the same time, the boutique allows storing more than 6 tons of honey in a modern space, created with natural and luminous materials and that are a true reflection of the apiarian world.
Much more than just a concept, L’Atelier du Miel allows its visitors to immerse themselves in the smells, flavors and colors of nature, and to follow nature’s cycle through the different honeys on display.
The dominant color of the boutique changes with the seasonal harvest of different honeys, going from green – the color of oak honey – in the summer, to yellow – the color of medlar honey – in the autumn.
This new boutique is located on Takieddine Street, Dakkak Building and is reachable 01-322064
