Zeina Kassem: 100 Lebanese Army trainers contribute to saving lives
Roads for Life (RFL) President Zeina Kassem asserted that the Lebanese Army is putting its personnel’s life on the line for the sake of the nation in order to preserve internal security and offer the Lebanese some long-awaited stability in these tough times.
“Army troops are being martyred at a very young age due to the chronic security upheavals. Likewise, innocent citizens are falling on our roads due to the chronic disruption of ethics. Whether on the front or on our roads, martyrs unfortunately make the headlines before being swiftly forgotten,” Kassem added.
She went on saying that the Lebanese Army is ready to redeem every Lebanese citizen, and “it is our duty to provide it with support. That’s what RFL is doing, by providing training to rescue soldiers in cases of traumatic casualties.”
Kassem’s statements coincided with the delivery of certificates the Training of Trainers’ Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) rescue course at the Hamat military base thanks to the strategic cooperation with Fransabank and in collaboration with Lebanese Red Cross trainers. Additionally, RFL offered the Lebanese Army 800 rescue kits to be used in trauma rescue missions.
With this 4th edition, the TCCC course will have encompassed so far 100 Lebanese Army trainers who will, in turn, train their fellow servicemen and contribute to saving military and civilian lives in situations similar to those the country is currently experiencing.
