Everyone all over the world reacted in different ways to the COVID19 pandemic.
While people and organisations – small and big- abided by the lockdown instruction, some were figuring out ways to support those who are risking their lives to save other lives.
Burger King Lebanon was one of the organisations that stepped up during this crucial time and reacted swiftly to the coronavirus outbreak.
Their Corporate Social Responsibility act focused on healthcare workers, whereby they contributed hundreds of free meals for the medical care professionals who are fighting the disease at Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur and the Emergency Medical teams of the “Lebanese Red Cross” throughout the month of April 2020.
Burger King’s contribution has been greatly influential in lifting the spirit of these dedicated frontline heroes; the management’s thoughtful gesture spread vibes of positivity, goodwill and generosity, in times of dire distress and anxiety.
“Giving back to the community has always been an essential part of Burger King’s culture worldwide” stated a spokesperson for Burger King Lebanon.
