Under the patronage and presence of the Minister of Tourism, Walid Nassar, and in cooperation with the Casino du Liban and the participation of massive political, ministerial, parliamentary, media, economic, and artistic activities, Creel held a huge celebration at the Casino du Liban, during which it brought together the various Lebanese regions from the far north to the far south to highlight the year 2023, in which tourism was the only sector that moved the economic wheel in the country, and “Beiruting” was honored for presenting the most beautiful image of Lebanon through its coverage of all events and occasions and supporting many sectors in Lebanon. Mr. Lucas Lama and his wife, Mrs. Elsa Lama, received the award and thanked the organizers of the ceremony, Mrs. Dounia Hajj and Mrs. Joelle Bou Younes. They gave a speech in which they stressed the message of “Beiruting,” launched 14 years ago, was committed to its media mission and professional ethics, and was always the primary reference for expatriates and all Lebanese to be informed about concerts and all the events that take place in Lebanon. “Beiruting” was and will remain a beacon whose first and last goal is to present Lebanon as the most beautiful country and the best tourist destination in the world.
Creel was a tribute to the most important tourism festivals that marked the year 2023, the towns that gave great importance to tourism, as well as the institutions and sectors that contributed to sports, cultural, and artistic tourism, in a message of hope that Lebanon will remain a country of life.
The ceremony witnessed a tribute to the Casino Du Liban for its efforts in holding the most important and prestigious concerts, and the Chairman of the Casino’s Board of Directors, Roland Khoury, received the honorary shield from MP Cesar Abi Khalil.
The ceremony concluded with a gesture of appreciation to Minister Nassar and a closing photo with the honorees to the tune of the song “Raje3 Yit3ammar Libnan,” performed by a choir led by the creative Tony Al-Bayeh.
