Following two years of forced absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the Port of Beirut explosion, the Beirut Marathon Association organized the annual race over two days under the theme: “UNITED WE RUN FOR HOPE”, in Beirut Waterfront. Blue Ocean Creations (BOC) supported the participation of Para-athletes in the Marathon, to which around 7 thousand runners from Lebanon, Arab and other foreign countries took part. Mona Lahib and Ahmed Al-Ghoul won first place in the race for Para-athlete Winners.
Blue Ocean Creations, a company providing tourism services, was proud of the choice it made to sponsor and support runners with special needs who participated in the race this year; indeed, these men and woman are a source of inspiration and teach us that nothing can stop us as long as we have a deep motivation and fierce determination to achieve our dreams.
Beirut Marathon aims at encouraging and stimulating people from all age groups to participate, so as to bring out the civilization face of Lebanon; it is a call for all Lebanese men and women to run united. The Marathon revives a national momentum for hope in order to restore unity, solidarity and dignity, and reflects the true image of Beirut, the capital of art, beauty and culture.
