Rebirth Beirut has opened its art exhibition at its headquarters in Gemmayze, entitled Rebirth Art Exhibition, which will take place from 5 to 14 May 2022, where it displays paintings and drawings by 4 Lebanese artists: Fady Chammas, Mona Nahleh, Tatiana Stephan and Jessy Tabet. The exhibition also includes artworks by a large group of international artists, in cooperation with Carré D’artistes.
The exhibition, which was inaugurated in the presence of the Governor of Beirut, Judge Marwan Abboud, and a number of press, artistic and cultural figures, giving a sign of gradual return of life to the heart of the capital, where civil initiatives are active, among them the initiative of Rebirth Beirut Association, which seeks to “a new birth to the capital” after what happened on August 4 2020.
This initiative comes as a continuation of previous initiatives launched in Beirut since the explosion of August 4, which included lighting traffic signals on solar energy under the slogan “With Every traffic Light, we ignite hope” and asphalting a thousand holes under the title “For a smooth and safer journey.”
This exhibition constitutes a space for all lovers of art and cultural activities in the capital, which will remain a beacon of culture and art, as its organizers said.
