The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Regional Office for the Middle East and North Africa (ROMENA) is happy to announce the launch of its creative reading competition across the Middle East and North Africa, with the Education for Justice (E4J) initiative.
The competition aims to help many youth and children escape boredom during COVID-19 and learn about the values of respect, tolerance, integrity, justice, and fairness! This would be done by reading the “Do It Like The Zorbs” story in their way! By creating a video, a song, an animation, a dance, or any form of art.
The participants can speak their own dialect and winners will be chosen based on simplicity, creativity, and passion!
You can find the link to the book here.
To take part, participants are to send their submission to [email protected]
Alternatively, they can use the same email address to send the video via a file-sharing service such as Dropbox, WeTransfer, or Google Drive by 22 July 2020.
National Winners will be announced on the 29th of July and regional winners on the 4th of August.
