‘My Legend’ is a book that is a combination of gratitude, history and design, serving as evidence of Lina Joudi’s tribute to her late father and dedication to preserving the rich history of her city, Tyre.
The historical and archaeological heritage is celebrated alongside art, giving rise to jewelry pieces that narrate legends of Tyre, Lebanon. These designs take inspiration from five eras: Phoenician, Greek, Byzantine, Roman, and Islamic.
The designer, Lina Joudi, encapsulates legends in icons and highlights women, embodying the timeless lessons from their influential roles in transmitting culture to our present day. Her passion and commitment to Tyre are reflected in jewelry pieces that will be launched and exhibited at the National Library that is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the WLA Association.
