Despite the problems and all the difficulties and challenges Lebanon is witnessing, “Rebirth Beirut” announced a new collaboration with “Carré d’Artistes”, by launching an art exhibition on May 5 at its headquarters in Gemmayze under the title: “Rebirth Art Exhibition”.
The exhibition will continue until May 14 and includes paintings and drawings by 4 Lebanese artists: Fady Chammas, Mona Nahleh, Tatiana Stephan and Jessy Tabet. The exhibition also includes artworks by a large group of international artists.
Initiatives from the civil society remain at the forefront of all the activities in Lebanon. Where institutions, ministries, and officials failed to play their true developmental role, the role of civil associations and initiatives emerged, including the “Rebirth Beirut Association”, which seeks to revive the capital that is still suffering from the massive explosion that harvested innocents and destroyed the city’s beautiful landmarks.
This initiative comes as a continuation of previous initiatives launched in Beirut since the explosion of August 4, which included lighting traffic signals on solar energy under the slogan “With Every traffic Light, we ignite hope” and asphalting a thousand holes under the title “For a smooth and safer journey.”
The exhibition is an open invitation to all art and cultural activities lovers, and coincides with the gradual return of life to Lebanon, especially with the receding of the Covid-19 pandemic, which prevented the association from carrying out a large number of activities that it had planned.
