27 July 2015 – Eurobest, the Festival of European Creativity which this year moves to Antwerp, has opened for delegate registrations. Among the new initiatives at the 2015 edition is the Creative Basecamp, a central hub for young talent.
Together with the Creative Club of Belgium, Eurobest has introduced the Creative Basecamp to enhance the young delegate’s experience of the Festival. Philip Thomas, CEO Lions Festivals, said, “The Creative Basecamp goes much further than just providing a space – it’s a home, a meeting place and an inspiration hub. It’s a great addition to Eurobest and helps maintain our commitment to nurturing young talent.”
The Pulcinella Hostel in Antwerp will become the Creative Basecamp from 1-3 December and will provide the young generation with accommodation, briefings, opportunities to meet speakers and jurors, master classes and evening events. With discovery at its heart, Eurobest moves to different European cities helping to inspire local creative communities and unlock new ideas and places. The 2015 Festival moves to Antwerp, which Louise Benson, Festival Director of Eurobest, said was an easy decision to make. “Belgium is one of the smallest countries in Europe and has a disproportionately creative output. A staggering one in six people in Antwerp are employed in the creative industries and it has a real commitment to nurturing creative talent. We’re really excited to be taking Eurobest to this forward-thinking, inspiring city.”
Registrations for the Festival are now open with delegate passes providing access to three days of carefully curated seminars and networking events as well as access to the best in European creative communications through exhibitions, screenings and the much anticipated awards ceremony.
Anybody wishing to be a part of the Festival can now register at www.eurobest.com. Registration for the Creative Basecamp will open in August.
