Beirut March 24, 2016: touch, the leading mobile telecommunications and data operator in Lebanon, managed by Zain Group, a leading telecom innovator in eight markets across the Middle East and Africa, celebrated motherhood by hosting its annual mother’s day lunch with touch mothers and media personnel.
Touch hosted its annual mother’s day lunch under the auspices of Mrs. Marlene Boutros Harb, the spouse of His Excellency Telecommunications Minister Boutros Harb. The event took place at the Regency Palace Hotel in Adma and was attended by Influential media figures and touch mothers, who came together to celebrate mother’s day.
During the speech she gave in the ceremony, Mrs. Marlene Boutros Harb emphasized the pivotal role that mother plays in maintaining their families. She said: “On this very special occasion I would like to stress the significant roles we play as mothers, towards our own children as well as our society and its emerging generations. Let us all intensify our efforts to provide our children with human and national principles and values in order for them to live together and accept one another despite their different religious or political affiliations. Our mission is to bring back our children to Lebanon and to teach them that Lebanon should always come first before all other countries, and before anything else”. She added, “On this day we couldn’t possibly forget those pained and heartbroken mothers who gave birth to heroes that were destined to guard our borders and die trying to protect us”. Harb went on to congratulate and commend touch mothers for their efforts in delivering touch’s vision and services to all the Lebanese.
On March 21st, touch also took the opportunity to celebrate with its customers at its certified outlets around the country. Every mother with a postpaid line who entered these designated outlets was greeted warmly with a special mother’s day gift. The customers were absolutely delighted with the heartwarming treatment they received.
While commenting on these celebrations, Ghada Barakat, the Corporate Communications and Relations manager at touch, said, “Touch truly believes that a mother’s touch should be endlessly celebrated, thus would like to extend its appreciation to every Lebanese mother. Mother’s Day is indeed a very special occasion, one through which we get to honor our own mothers, the media working mothers, as well as maternal bonds in general and the influence they have in society through celebrating this special day with mother that are part of the bigger touch family: our loyal customers.”
Driven by a strategy of customer centricity, touch strives to share every moment with the Lebanese community. For that reason, touch has made it an annual tradition to show its gratitude to all mothers.
