Hyundai Motor Company continues commitment to COVID safety measures, donating 300,000 3D masks across Middle East and Africa market

  • A total of 300,000 3D masks and 60,000 mask straps will be given out to customers in response to new variants of COVID-19.

Dubai, 17 May 2021: Hyundai Motor Company is continuing to put the safety of its customers at the forefront of their operation, providing 3D face mask equipment to its distributors across the Middle East and Africa markets.

Following an increase in the number of cases across several countries in the Middle East and Africa market in recent weeks, Hyundai Motor has purchased 300,000 3D masks and 60,000 mask straps designed for children to help tackle the threat.

The masks and mask straps will be given to all Hyundai Motor distributors in the market, whose staff will be responsible for handing out the 3D masks for children to customers.

The contributions are part of Hyundai Motor’s on-going commitment to helping people keep safe during these unprecedented times.

In June 2020, at a time when all countries were affected by the pandemic, Hyundai Motor donated more than 603,000 safety items including face masks, hand sanitizers, protective suits and ambulances to 37 nations across the Middle East and Africa market
