Management consulting firm Strategic Decisions Group (SDG) said today that its recently announced partnership with Spigit will accelerate the introduction of innovation and idea management tools in Europe and the Middle East.
Last month, SDG and Spigit announced their partnership to introduce Spigit’s comprehensive, collaborative, enterprise-wide innovation management software to SDG corporate and government clients to enhance their innovation management and capital allocation processes.
“Using Spigit’s platform, enterprises can engage their employees and external stakeholders – including customers and partners – in strategic innovation,” said Mazen A. Skaf, managing director of the SDG’s Europe & Middle East Practice. “Our joint work with Spigit will enable mass collaboration across the stages of strategic innovation from ideation, to splicing of ideas, to prioritization, to portfolio balancing and management.”
The SDG-Spigit partnership has identified the Middle East as a key growth market. Through SDG’s Europe and Middle East Practice, Spigit has access to the MENA region, and SDG’s corporate and government clients have access to Spigit’s innovation and idea management tools. The Spigit platform is currently being evaluated by companies in financial services, manufacturing, and general contracting, as well as by government entities in the Middle East.
Spigit’s government product, CitizenSpigit, “is a great enabler for participative government and fits well with SDG’s solutions for project prioritization and optimal resource allocation in the public sector,” said Dr. Skaf.
Spigit’s partnership with SDG marks Spigit’s first collaboration with a management consulting firm of its size, and an opportunity for both companies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their mutual clients’ strategic innovation and capital allocation processes.
“SDG is a recognized leader in strategy, innovation, and risk management,” Paul Pluschkell, CEO and co-founder of Spigit. “We’re very pleased to partner with them to provide the much-needed solution to engage a broad cross section of employees and other stakeholders in the process of ideation and innovation management in their client organizations.”
Spigit’s award-winning solutions are already in use by many Fortune 2000 companies and other well-known brands at the forefront of innovation, including AT&T, Lloyds Banking Group, MedPlus, Southwest Airlines and Choice Hotels International. The company was recently named to InformationWeek’s Startup 50 list of the top business technology startups as selected by readers and editors.
SDG has a long history of working with clients in innovation-intensive and capital-intensive industries in strategy development, strategic innovation, and R&D portfolio management, optimal resource allocation and risk management. The company’s clientele includes select government entities and industry leaders in technology and communications, energy, infrastructure, consumer goods, and manufacturing.
