SUMMER MISK FESTIVAL

For another consecutive year, BeitMisk, under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism and in partnership with Banque Libano Francaise, launched the third edition of the highly esteemed Summer Misk Festival on Thursday April 21, at the Ministry.

The panel included His Excellency Mr. Michel Pharaon – Minister of Tourism, Mr. Georges Zard Abou Jaoudé – Chairman and General Manager of Beitmisk, Mrs. Sarah Manoukian – Director of the Festival and  Mr. Paul Aoun: Consultant at GZA Group.

This year’s Summer Misk Festival will inaugurate the summer holidays yet again with an impressive lineup, bringing four eclectic nights that appeal to different audiences from across Lebanon and the region.

H.E Minister Pharaon showed his support to the festival: “I would like to welcome Mr. Georges Zard Abou Jaoude, Mrs. Sarah and Mr. Paul to the ministry of Tourism, which is home to all those who love art, tourism, culture, heritage and reconstruction. I believe that BeitMisk has become one of the development pillars in the Metn region. In addition, and thanks to exceptional initiatives and efforts, this festival has become, in only three short years, one of the most important festivals in the country. We would like once again to reiterate our support to those initiatives that help Lebanon overcome the bleak prevailing atmosphere and that serve Lebanon’s interest.”

“Faithful in Lebanon and its people who are passionate about culture and art, BeitMisk launched Summer Misk Festival as a single initiative to promote Lebanon’s positive image. Whether we are investors, executives, contractors, or engineers, we are Lebanese citizens first and foremost, and it is our duty to hold on to our country and support it regardless of all circumstances. Each of us is invited to make a positive change in Lebanon so that we can together build a better future for a nation to be proud of.” said Mr. Georges Zard Abou Jaoudé, Chairman and General Manager of Beitmisk.

On June 30th, the winner and the stars of MBC’s the Voice 2016 will take the stage to perform timeless classics in Laylet Tarab. Directed by Jean Marie Riachi, Nidaa’ Sharara, Abboud Barmada, Radwan Sadek, Hamzah Al Fadlawi, and Walaa’ Al Jundi will present a magical repertoire alongside 30 musicians.
